WHY WE EXIST?
INCREASING FUTURE-CURIOUSNESS
We are building pathways to increase future-curiousness:
- What if we could generate more curiosity about the future and ignite curiosity (interest) in shaping the future?
- What if the world were 10% or 10x more curious? How much better would the world be if people were generally more curious?
- What if we explored curious, alternative futures with the full spectrum of humanity's curious diversity?
MAKING THE FUTURE ACCESSIBLE
We believe in FUTURE FITNESS FOR ALL and that everyone should have access to:
- The future predictions that are influencing Big Business, Wall Street, Silicon Valley, the media and governments. The foresight establishment shapes the future, yet most people are unaware of the forecasts and priorities. We aim to democratize professional futurists' forecasts and give the general public access to expert foresight.
- Foresight and Futurist methods, data-sources and platforms. "Tomorrowing" competencies should be public and accessible, so all of humanity can participate in shaping our future. If basic skills can be transferred then we'll have more representation and participation in futures work. We want to share futures techniques, tools and tricks-of-the-trade to include more people in foresight (futures).
DRIVING MORE DIVERSITY IN FORESIGHT
CURIOUS FUTURES is helping to create the next generation of futurists coming from diverse backgrounds all over the world. We believe "tomorrowing" should be a diverse and inclusive activity so future planning is representative. We are stimulating futures thinking and questioning, as well as discussion about who is designing our future. Through this infographic and free interactive lessons, digital content and platform we empower people to develop their FUTURE FITNESS.
