Randomly select three (3) trends from the infographic and identify how they converge. The best innovations are born at the intersection of several trends.  

From the trends about future consumers, future lifestyles and future living environments create a composite projected Persona of the Future.  From this imagine this future needs, wants, behaviors, etc.

Take your business category and go down the list of trends. Using ITTT (If This Then That) logic imagine the implications of each trend on your category. Then, triangulate several ITTTs.

Select one (1) trend from the list and imagine how an underworld operator might exploit the trend. Some of the best innovations come from people working outside the mainstream, working around the system or cutting corners.

Randomly select a dozen (12) trends and imagine how you might hack the trends today to make them somewhat a reality right now. Great innovations otten spawn from hacks and DIY, short-term shoe-string solutions. 

In two teams, randomly select two (2) trends from the poster and silently identify one word that ties the trends together. Using only the one-word clue that connects the trends, teammates guess the two trends within three (3) minutes (teams take turns).
